The Personal Touch was established in 1995 by Jane Mazzucato after having been encouraged by friends and family alike to branch out on her own instead of working within a corporate environment.
This she did, and now has two shops, one in Eastbourne and the second in Heathfield, East Sussex. Jane’s elder daughter, Samantha left her office job in order to work with Jane, managing the Heathfield showroom.
The Personal touch shop windows are famous in the local area for the fantastic displays of fabrics, wallpaper, pieces of furniture and quality unusual gifts. They are changed regularly throughout the year to reflect the mood of the season and are a great inspiration to aspiring interior designers. The Eastbourne shop also specialises in many quality unusual gifts, which is fantastic to spend some time browsing around for something for that special person.
